Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi dominate as top travel destinations.

In 2025, Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi were the most popular destinations for international tourists in Georgia. Tbilisi led with 3.76 million visitors (+11%), followed by Batumi with 2.6 million (+5%) and Kutaisi with 631,000 (+15%). Other popular sites in the Adjara region included the Botanical Garden and Gonio Fortress. Kazbegi and Mtskheta also recorded high visitor numbers, with increases of 16% and 10%, respectively. Overall, Georgia is proving to be an increasingly popular tourist destination.
